Author Guidelines

Journal al-Tazkiah receive papers in the form of articles and research reports, both of which use the Indonesian language, English, and Arabic, with the following conditions:

  1. The paper has never been published or published in a periodical or book.
  2. Topics ranged article on research relating to Islam and psychology Counseling
  3. Title of writing a maximum of 14 words
  4. All paper must include an abstract (100-150) words and keywords (3-7) word
  5. The amount of between 15-20 pages with page numbers kwarto size double spaced using the font Bell MT and large letters 12 pt.
  6. Every Arabic word that has not been officially terbakukan Indonesian is written following the guidelines applied transliteration and how to write it is tilted (italic), this also applies to foreign words (such as English and Regions) and how to write it tilted ( italic)

All posts using the footnote reference models, large letters 10 pt, with the techniques of writing as follows: Name of Author, Title Books Written Italic (City Publisher: Publisher Name, Year of Publication), No. page. As an example:

  • When citing the same references in order, then simply write: Ibid. If the page is different, simply add page numbers: Ibid. 14.
  • When the reference quoted later by one or more reference different, then simply enter the last name of the author of the following titles of reference referred to earlier. For example, Al-Ghazali, Ihya '. , , 35.

Article submission can be in hard copy form (mold) to the address of the Editor of the journal al-Tazkiah in the Faculty of Da'wa and Communication IAIN Mataram, Jl. Education No. 35 Mataram NTB 83125, Tel. (0370) 621298, 63 449 Fax. 625337. The submission of manuscripts in soft copy (files) can be sent via email:



Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
